Friends and collaborators that fuse their music and words

Patty Carpenter (singer and piano player) and Verandah Porche (poet and scribe) have been friends since 1968. They began creating songs in 2005 following the devastation that was caused by the hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. They wrote a heartfelt paean for New Orleans called 'Alibi Lullaby', which also led to to the creation of a music-making partnership between the two.
